Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas friends and family! Here I am playing with some of my Christmas presents. I have already ruined a few of them so I can only have those with supervision. I also got a special travel water bottle, a heated pad for my dog house, a poop-bag dispenser and lots and lots of treats. I love Santa!

Hard Knock Life

No matter what anyone tells you, I'm not spoiled. I just enjoy an occasional ear scratching. I also enjoy daily massages, bi-monthly baths in my own dedicated shower and more chewies, kisses and treats than I know what to do with. But no, I'm not spoiled. All dogs get these things, right?

Giving Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving! Thursday, I visited my Uncle Toby and brought him a matching Thanksgiving bandanna. Our bandanna's had Turkeys with Pilgrim hats on.

I give thanks for all of the toys I've destroyed this year, my friends at Camp Bow Wow, Zuke's, and long naps. I would like to NOT give thanks for the squirrels that take over my back yard.

I'm Not Balding

Tonight my daddy Furminated me and removed this huge mass of hair. Believe it or not, I still have plenty of hair left. In fact, I look about the same! Daddy is convinced he can Furminate me for the rest of his life and still make absolutely no difference.

Wish It Was Summer

It was 13 degrees out this morning (burrrrr)! At least I got to go to camp and play with my friends today though!

Lazy Sunday

I got a nice bath to clean up after my super muddy day at the dog park this afternoon. I was pretty sleepy, so I curled up on my favorite piece of furniture for an afternoon nap. I even used my cozy pink blankie I got from my friend Bear.

Weekend at Camp

Too tired to post a picture of myself today, so here's one of my favorite puppy pics. I had a long weekend at camp while my parents were up in Vail. Had a great time meeting new "weekend friends" and having a slumber party with the other dogs. I love Camp Bow Wow!

Here's me brushing my teeth with a chewie after trying to ingest an entire dead bird today on our walk. To my great disappointment, Daddy ripped it out of my mouth and left me only with feathers. Don't worry, I'll find more soon.

New Threads

I've finally out-grown my puppy collar. Over the weekend, I visited Smooch the Pooch in Highlands Ranch and purchased this new collar (and matching leash of course) for my new adult lifestyle. In fact, I've now reached 50 lbs!

First Snow

Today I had my first experience with snow! I had a great time doing "puppy runs" in the back yard with my favorite pink ball and rolling around in the snow. I would have stayed out there all day if I could have.

My Fit of Rage

Oops. I went into a fit of rage today while my parents were at work and destroyed my bed. While I had a blast doing it, I've lost the privilege of a nice cozy cushion in my dog house. Maybe when I'm older I'll get it back.

Dog Park

Leash-free and loving it! Yesterday, I went to the Evergreen Dog Park for the first time with my friends Winston and Lucy. We had a GREAT time running around the mountainside and playing with the other dogs. My mommy was very proud of me because I came every time she called me. I think I'm starting to earn her trust off of the leash. I had such a good time, I went back today for some more fun in the sun!

Middle Name

It all started around the time of this picture, when I was given a middle name. I'm not sure quite how it came about, but it is "Jane." Yep - that's me - "Bella Jane Anderson!" Now does that look like a face that would ever get into trouble?

The Premier

I figured it was time to show off my new post-surgery haircut. Like it? You may notice that my tummy is a little full after polishing off 2 cups of dinner in about 10 minutes. I tried a new product called "Petchup" (like Ketchup) mixed in with my food, and I just couldn't help myself.

No Ordinary Stick

As you may know, I'm a stick addict and also happen to enjoy eating bugs. As luck would have it, I found the best stick yet just sitting in my pool in the backyard. A stick bug! I tried to eat it but it kept grabbing my lip. It got away, but I'm determined to find it again.

The Place That Took My Womanhood

I went to my doctor Friday morning feeling GREAT and came out Saturday afternoon feeling TERRIBLE! Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?

When I came home Saturday after my spay, I had a really upset tummy and had to go back to the doctor where they decided to keep me for another night. They said it was a bad reaction to the pain medicine they had given me. They put me on an IV and monitored me closely the whole night. Good news - I'm home now and feeling much better! Thanks to everyone for your concern!

Meyer Ranch

To celebrate Labor Day, we went to Meyer Ranch Open Space in Conifer for a long hike. I encountered some horses along the way, and boy did I show them! I put my game face on and gave 'em heck (from a distance of course). Those things were huge! I also ate some of their poop and gave my daddy a big kiss. Right on the lips! Great day.

Squirrel

I killed one.

Pre-Season Bath Time

You heard it here first - the Broncos game was so bad, I elected to take a bath in the middle of it. I was hoping Kyle Orton would throw a good pass by the time I dried off. Unfortunately, that wasn't in the cards Sunday.

Apex Hike

Here's me and Winston after our 2.5 hour hike yesterday - phew! We had a great time playing in the very muddy stream, fetching sticks and running around like crazy. After our hike, we stopped at Whole Foods to relax while the ladies enjoyed some lunch outside. Can't wait for our next adventure!

Sunrise Chewy

Wide awake before 5am (maybe that's why my eyes look a little funny in this picture)! The only thing that could keep me from running around like crazy was a good chewy. Next on my list of things to do today, watch the sunrise and then fall asleep in the corner of my dog run.

Photo Shoot

If you don't know already, I'm kind of a big deal. People know me.

After my long day at camp, I participated in a photo shoot tonight for a national advertising campaign a local photographer was shooting. There I am, front and center next to my friend, Roscoe (white). My other friend, Tank (black), is manning the couch next to the photographer.

I must admit, I was lured in with peanut butter and found myself uncontrollably licking the photographer's toes at one point (slightly embarrassing). I also got to hold down the couch for a few frames and again, found myself licking peanut butter off of the photographer's cheek.

Watch out Milan, here I come!

Pool Party

With it being one of the few hot days this summer, I decided to take a little dip. This isn't my first time swimming, so I didn't need any floaties or inner tubes. Don't worry, my collar was on the whole time (I'm not a fan of skinny dipping).

Neglected to Mention

It was my 5-month birthday yesterday! In people years, that's about 8 years old (although you might guess more like 2 years old). After a long walk at Clement Park last night, I got to enjoy a special doggie brownie to celebrate. Happy Birthday to me. Happy Birthday to me....

My Golden Days

Those were my golden days. Those big brown eyes, the puppy fuzz and all the attention I could ask for! Who am I kidding? I have a great (and very golden) life. I'm spoiled rotten and loving it.
